Mezdulene is passionate about Middle Eastern Dance, and she has been performing and teaching for over 25 years. She has taken classes and seminars with dozens of nationally and internationally known instructors and performed hundreds of times in concerts, night clubs, nursing homes, festivals and benefits. She has won many competitions in the professional, troupe and specialty categories.

One performance highlight was a dance tour through Egypt where she danced in several night clubs in Cairo and Luxor. Throughout the years, she has taught on-going classes as well as workshops, directed several troupes and sponsored workshops, shows and is now the sponsor of Belly Dancer U.S.A. She currently owns Mystical Oasis Dance Studio in Sutherlin, OR and is the director of the Mystical Oasis Dance Co. She is also the owner/editor of Jareeda Magazine and the producer of several instructional DVDs.

The one constant in her life during challenging and painful times, in the past many years, has been the dance and the supportive friends she has made through the dance. Mezdulene is currently writing a book about her experiences and what the dance has given her.

Mezdulene teaches from the heart and soul. She goes beyond technique to the core of the dance, helping students express their own individual essence. She believes that belly dance is the most creative and expressive dance form, giving us a unique and feminine outlet for personal expression. She loves watching her students blossom, gaining not only a new skill but also self-confidence, poise and pride in their own femininity.

In addition to dancing, Mezdulene is also an ordained, inter-faith minister who loves to perform weddings. She is also a Reiki master, shaman and author.
